We may tell you about other MORnet services. You can ask us to stop at any time; service notices will continue.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell customer information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the business, such as our billing platform, payment processor, email and messaging providers, and the carriers that connect voice calls and route 911. They may use it only to provide services to MORnet.
- With 911 and emergency services, to route and respond to emergency calls.
- When the law requires it, as described in section 5.
- If MORnet's business is sold or merged, with the buyer, who must honor this notice.
- With your consent.
4. Your telephone records (CPNI)
If you have MORnet voice service, federal law protects Customer Proprietary Network Information ("CPNI"): information about the quantity, type, destination, location, and amount of use of your phone service, and related billing information. You have a right, and MORnet has a duty, to protect the confidentiality of your CPNI.
- We use CPNI to provide and bill your service, to protect against fraud, and to offer you services within the type of service you already buy from us. We do not use or share CPNI to market other services, or share it with affiliates or third parties for marketing, without your approval.
- We will only discuss call detail records on a call you make to us after verifying your identity with a password or by calling you back at the number on your account, or by mailing them to your address of record. In person, we require valid photo identification.
- We will tell you, at your address or number of record, whenever your account password, security question, online account, or address of record is created or changed.
- If your CPNI is ever accessed without authorization, we will notify law enforcement as federal rules require, and then notify you.
- You may deny or withdraw approval to use your CPNI for marketing at any time by calling (863) 678-9910. Doing so does not affect your service.
5. Law enforcement and legal requests
We disclose customer information to government agencies only when required by law, such as by a subpoena, court order, or warrant, and only the information the request lawfully requires. We may disclose information without legal process when we believe in good faith that an emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury requires it. Where the law allows, we tell customers about requests for their information so they can respond. Civil subpoenas, including those from copyright owners, must be properly served on MORnet at the address below. MORnet complies with the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act.
6. Security and retention
We protect customer information with access controls, encryption for data in transit, and restricted staff access, and we train staff on handling customer records. We keep information for as long as you are a customer and afterward for as long as we need it for billing, tax, legal, and security purposes, and then delete or de-identify it.
7. Your choices
- Review and update your account information in the account portal or by calling us.
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- Opt out of marketing messages at any time.
8. Children
Service accounts are opened by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
